The New Moon Rings are from an early series of hand carved rings. When I began to carve I knew I wanted to play with proportion, thick to thin. As I carved I challenged myself to see how thin I could make the piece and still maintain the ring form. At the end I realized it was a crescent, the new moon. Just as the new moon symbolizes new beginnings, the New Moon Ring is a reminder that each day is a new beginning. Made from 14k White, Pink and Yellow Gold. They come as a set of three and fit together like a puzzle.
